High Performance Engineering

Every critical component of the Maxx Ultimate has been refined with high-grade 6061-T6 aluminum for unmatched durability and precision. Aluminum C-hubs, steering blocks, rear hub carriers, motor cradle, and transmission cover provide rigid support and consistent handling under punishing torque and jumps. Aluminum steering bellcranks and suspension pin retainers keep steering crisp and consistent, while 7075-T6 aluminum TUBES™ toe links dial in race-level adjustability.

Power System

Unleash up to 55+ mph out of the box with a single 4S LiPo (sold separately), or exceed 60 mph with optional gearing. The Velineon® 540XL 2400Kv 4-pole brushless motor delivers brutal torque and long-format cooling capacity, paired with the VXL-4s™ Waterproof ESC featuring real-time telemetry, built-in cooling fan, LED status lights, and 10-gauge silicone wiring. Integrated protection circuits keep the system running safe and efficient, even in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions.

Handling & Control

The Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM®) system keeps power in check, helping you accelerate faster and corner harder without spinning out. Adjust from full assistance to raw control directly from the transmitter. The TQi™ 2.4GHz radio system with factory-installed wireless module provides seamless control and telemetry integration via the Traxxas Link™ app, supporting up to 30 model profiles.

Chassis & Drivetrain

The modular composite chassis interlocks with front and rear bulkheads to distribute impact forces and keep the driveline sealed from dirt and debris. Inside, the full-time 4WD shaft-driven system uses steel CV driveshafts, a torque-biasing center drive with aluminum housing, sealed fluid-filled differentials, and steel ring and pinion gears for bulletproof strength. The Cush Drive™ with a steel spur gear smooths out power delivery, while 17 mm aluminum hex hubs secure the wheels under extreme load.

Suspension & Shocks

Traxxas’ advanced WideMaxx® suspension widens the stance for stability and control, built with ultra-tough composites that resist impact damage even in freezing temperatures. GT-Maxx® threaded aluminum shocks feature TiN-coated shafts, dual X-ring seals, aluminum caps, and bolted perches for smooth, consistent damping and long-term durability.

Design & Protection

The clipless body mounting system combines convenience and strength—just snap it on or off with one hand using the pivoting rear latch. Molded reinforcements and custom Maxx Ultimate graphics complete the premium look. Reinforced bumpers, skid plates, integrated nerf bars, and a wheelie bar with aluminum wheels protect the chassis during aggressive driving.

Mounted Sledgehammer® extreme tires on 2.8″ black chrome wheels provide maximum off-road traction, stability, and durability, pre-glued and rated for TSM® high-speed performance.
