Description
Paint Your Gunpla With Gundam Markers
An entry-level airbrush system specifically (and only) for Gundam Markers, and is a fantastic entry point for fans of Gundam Markers to begin airbrushing at a more affordable price than conventional airbrush setups, though not without some limitations (air). It can be attached to a Mr. Hobby Compressor for unlimited air, or the Airhose Adapter Set to attach it to other brand's airhoses and compressors.
Set Contains:
- x1 Airbrush Unit
- x1 Can of Mr. Air Super 190 (replacement cans also available)
- x1 Mr. Hobby Airhose (Straight) #PS145 1.5" Long (4mm)
- x1 Air Valve 1/8 Adapter
- x3 Gundam Marker Replacement Nibs
Simply attach the hose to both components and you're good to go! It's a good idea to make sure your Gundam Markers (sold separately) are shaken and running (ie flood the tip) before painting.
This airbrush unit is single-action and is only useable with Gundam Markers due to its specialized design.
Safety
Be advised that Gundam Markers are a solvent-based paint (isopropyl) and thus will release both fumes and particulates when sprayed. Using a mask and a way to suck up or blow away fumes is necessary for safe use!
Features
- Airhose and Air Valve Adapter: The included 4mm airhose comes with a 1/8 BSP adapter (compatible with Iwata and Paasche compressors) but other compressors may require an additional adapter.
- Replacement Nibs: These nibs can be used to replace the tips on your Gundam Marker and allow for the spraying of slightly thinner lines when using the Gundam Marker Airbrush System. This set contains x3 of them, but should you need additional nibs they can be purchased separately!
- Mr. Air Super 190: Using the included can of compressed air, you can paint by turning the knob on the air valve. However, compressed air may not last as long as expected, especially if you're not practiced! Replacements can be purchased separately to keep you painting! Attaching a compressor (sold separately - special order only) will allow you to paint without running out of air!
