Free Kids-Only Pokemon Card Trade Event

Does your kid love collecting and trading Pokemon cards? Are you looking for a great, fun environment for them to get all their pokemon jitters out?

Then you'll love our special all-day kids event! All kids under 12 are welcome. Come learn and trade Pokemon cards with our very own Professor Ironbark!

Join intrepid Pokemon Professor Ironbark and his Research Assistant, Hazel as they facilitate a kids-only Pokemon card trading event! The professor hosts these events at BC Hobbies in Hillside Shopping Centre on select Sundays, which you can see below.

The Professor Is In!

Join Professor Ironbark and Research Assistant Hazel for a whole day of pokemon trading! Every kid leaves with cards they like and a special Pokemon-themed experience they’ll remember. Your kids can bring their cards to trade with him (or one another) during regular business hours on select Sundays (view the schedule below).

Nigel is an affable, good natured dad who loves kids, loves helping out and facilitates a fun, safe & fair trading day.

Regarding Photos: If your child's face is visible in one of our photos and you would like it blurred, reach out to liam@bchobbies.com and we will take care of that promptly!

Trade Event Schedule

Our scheduled dates for Professor Ironbark's kids-only Pokemon card trading days are as follows. Please note that the event runs in-store at BC Hobbies on the following Sundays* from 11:00AM - 5:00PM when we close.

Oct 2024: 13th, 27th
Nov 2024: 10th, 24th
Dec 2024: We will not be hosting any pkmn trade days in December

*Further dates are to be announced! On the unlikely chance that a date has to be rescheduled, the ammendment will be posted here.
