Professor Ironbark (Nigel)

"I started this group to ensure that kids can focus on just being kids, trying to catch 'em all in a safe, fun environment. Plus, being Professor Ironbark is probably the most fun I've had in years!"

Favourite Pokémon: Mewtwo, Mew

Professor Hazel (Hailey)

"Pokémon trade day is important to me because I've been a Pokémon fan since i was a little kid. I enjoy bringing our younger generation together in a safe, fun space to learn about and trade Pokémon cards. I also enjoy letting my inner child relive all the memories i had with Pokémon cards"

Favourite Pokémon: Arcanine

Professor Burmis (Dia)

"So for what trade day means to me: compassion and camaraderie. A sense of belonging and the ability to have fun! No matter what, if you come to trade day, you are surrounded by kind faces and the love of Pokémon, and everyone always leaves with a smile. Smiles are so very important and it is always so wonderful to see them on Sundays."

The Story of Pokemon Trade Days

Nigel (AKA Professor Ironbark) started our Pokemon Trade Days event. Let's hear what he has to say about it!

"I remember when Pokemon the trading card game first launched in the mid 90s. I would take my younger brother on many a quest trying to catch em all. I recall the sheer joy on his face as we would find cards that he was missing. Fast forward a decade or two (or three or four…who’s counting?) and I still see the wonder in the eyes of young trainers.

But… I have heard too many tales of them being taken advantage of, either by misleading trades or the ultimate deception…the fake card!!! I started this group to ensure that kids can focus on just being kids, trying to catch em all in a safe, fun environment. Plus, being Professor Ironbark is probably the most fun I have had in years!"
