The Paasche Talon TG-1AS is a precision double-action, gravity-feed airbrush designed for painters who want fine control, smooth atomization and dependable performance for detailed work. Made and assembled in the USA, the Talon combines a 0.38 mm needle and nozzle with a generous gravity-feed paint cup, making it well suited to scale modelling, miniatures, illustration and other applications requiring controlled paint placement.

The TG-1AS comes equipped with Paasche's Size 2 / 0.38 mm head, providing a useful balance between fine detail and general-purpose spraying. Paasche rates the standard setup for spray patterns ranging from approximately a hairline up to 1 inch, depending on paint consistency, air pressure and spraying distance.

As a double-action, internal-mix airbrush, the Talon provides independent control over air and paint. Press the trigger down to begin airflow and pull back to gradually introduce paint, allowing the painter to continuously adjust paint volume and spray width while working.

Paint is supplied through an integrated 0.4 oz / approximately 12 ml gravity-feed cup with a removable lid. The larger cup provides plenty of capacity for extended painting sessions while the gravity-feed design allows the airbrush to work efficiently with relatively small amounts of paint.

The Talon uses a highly polished and hardened stainless-steel needle, designed for durability and reduced paint buildup. A PTFE needle packing allows the airbrush to be used with both water-based and solvent-based paints and cleaners.

The airbrush features a durable chrome-plated body and anodized aluminum rear handle. Its gravity-feed layout and fine-detail head make the TG particularly well suited to applications where accurate control and consistent atomization are more important than very broad coverage.

Paasche specifies an operating pressure range of 20–75 PSI, with actual pressure depending on the material being sprayed and the desired effect. For typical hobby paints, considerably lower pressures within that range are commonly appropriate once the paint has been properly reduced.
