Paasche D500SR Mini Air Compressor

The Paasche D500SR Mini Air Compressor is a compact, quiet air source designed specifically for airbrushing. Combining an oil-free piston compressor with an adjustable regulator, pressure gauge, moisture trap and automatic shutoff, it provides the essential features needed for scale modelling, miniature painting, crafts and general-purpose airbrush work.

The D500SR uses a 1/5 HP oil-free piston compressor capable of delivering approximately 1–30 PSI of working pressure, depending on the airbrush and airflow requirements. This range is well suited to many common hobby airbrushes and properly thinned airbrush paints.

An integrated air regulator and moisture trap allows the user to adjust working pressure while helping remove condensed moisture from the airline before it reaches the airbrush. The pressure gauge provides a clear reference when setting airflow for different paints, nozzle sizes and spraying techniques.

The compressor also features automatic shutoff, allowing the motor to stop when the airbrush is not demanding air. This reduces unnecessary running time, noise and wear during a painting session.

With a rated operating noise level of approximately 47 dB, the D500SR is considerably quieter than a typical workshop compressor and is well suited to hobby rooms and indoor workspaces. Its compact design and integrated carrying handle also make it easy to move or store when not in use.

The compressor uses Paasche's standard 1/4" NPT hose connection and includes a 1/8" BSP adapter, allowing it to be used with many common non-Paasche airbrush hoses and fittings.
