The Rising Freedom Gundam was built using operational data from the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam, incorporating transformation technology acquired from the MVF-M11C Murasame. Its weapons were developed in PLANT, utilizing cutting-edge tech from multiple countries and organizations. Sharing the same frame, cockpit, and operating system as the STTS-808 Immortal Justice Gundam, this unit is more compact than previous Freedom variants.

Primarily designed for long-range combat, it features Variable Phase Shift (VPS) Armor to neutralize physical attacks. The common frame allows for adaptable equipment configurations, making it a versatile, multi-role unit. However, unlike its predecessors, the Rising Freedom is battery-powered, requiring power-saving measures due to its energy-demanding weaponry.
